Achieved four 9’s, one 8 and four 7’s in GCSE with Maths achieving top percentile with a grade 9.
I have had a passion in Maths for years, always taking an interest in the subject. As I reached my GCSEs and A-Levels, and was introduced to calculus, I took an immediate passion to it. I believe this allows me to teach the subject as I have a deep and thorough understanding of topics that are covered.
My belief is that anyone can be good at Maths if they have a dedicated mindset, and a willingness to learn. If that's the case I believe I will be able to inspire deeper thinking and a greater understanding of the subject to all my students.

I take a focused and supportive approach to teaching, identifying weaknesses and building on them until students are confident in exam questions. Breaking topics into sections and making sure that the student has a thorough understanding of the section before moving on, allowing students to perform to their best in exam questions that when changed can be confusing.
Lessons would be between 1 and 2 hours depending on the student's needs and preference. This allows enough time to explain concepts, work through examples and practice questions.
These lessons would be aimed at GCSE and A Level Students taking Maths or Further Maths. For A Level I am particularly suited to help with calculus-based topics, although I can support with other areas of the course as well.

Adam is patient, knowledgeable and finds ways to explain difficult topics clearly. He is passionate about Maths and that comes across in his tutoring. He always makes sure that you fully understand the topic at hand before moving on.
Adam is a really skilled mathematician and very skilled at all aspects of computer science, especially coding. He has knowledge of very advanced A-level further maths skills and he is well versed in python and many other coding languages.
