About Herbert
I really love what I am doing and I had some very passionate professors in both these two classes. What I really want to do is to pass what I was taught and to show people that maths is not about knowing how to solve a couple of exercises, but more about developing and building an analytical way to think.

My usual lessons are one hour long because I believe that students are more focused in a shorter amount of time.
I start by checking if they have any questions/misunderstandings from school. Then we will solve the exercises that they didn't know for their homework. This covers usually the first part of the lesson.
The second part is based on deepening their current knowledge while showing them new techniques.
In the end, I will give them homework that is composed of 6-10 exercises, that I want to get done one day before our next tutoring session such that I will mark it.
