About Aidan
I'm a maths and applied maths teacher, qualifying in 2014. I then completed my PhD in maths education in DCU. I continue my research work in this field, and lecture part-time in Maynooth University. I am extremely passionate about maths teaching.

I cater lessons to individual students - emphasising their strengths while working on weaknesses. I prefer a conversational style of teaching that promotes discussion of maths to develop an understanding of each topic. I have a strong background of exceptional maths teaching. Lessons are typically an hour, but I prefer to extend this slightly if I feel it will benefit learning. I offer grinds for both junior and leaving cert in the lead up to exams.
