About Rachel

My teaching approach for Mathematics is focused on coordinate geometry and its applications. I begin with the Cartesian coordinate system, including plotting points and finding distances between points using the distance formula. I teach slope of a line, including calculation and interpretation. I cover equations of straight lines, including point-slope form, two-point form, slope-intercept form, intercept form, and general form with step-by-step methods. I also cover parallel and perpendicular lines, and applications in geometry problems. I use visual aids and graphs to make concepts easier to understand. I provide detailed notes, formula sheets, and practice worksheets. I assign homework that includes both routine problems and application-based questions. I conduct weekly quizzes to assess understanding. I maintain a progress log and adjust my teaching pace based on individual needs. My goal is to help you master coordinate geometry and apply it confidently.
