About Grace
Hi! I'm Grace; I am offering mathematics tutoring for students in years 7 to 12. When I began my senior studies in 2023, I quickly realised that simply going to class and doing all of the homework would not be enough for me to achieve top marks. In year 12 I began refocusing my energy toward revisiting fundamental concepts and dedicating time to effective practice. By doing this I was able to transform my marks — and I’m here to help you do the same. Next year I will be studying Mechanical Engineering at UNSW.

At your request, I can create personalised exams tailored to your specific areas for improvement, to ensure that on the exam day, you can tackle every question. Personally, I saw significant results with this strategy, where in year 12, I created my own exams which focused on my weakest topic area…VECTORS. Using this method, I was able to transform my Mathematics Extension One rank from 8th in Year 11 to 4th in Year 12.
Teaching experience: In Year 11 and 12, I tutored students in Years 7 to 10 in Mathematics. This demonstrated a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, reinforcing my ability to simplify complex ideas to explain material clearly to younger students.
Comprehensive Subject Coverage: Whether it’s mathematics, or legal studies, I provide thorough, structured coverage of the syllabus. In year 11 I rushed through content and ended up with misunderstandings. In year 12, I took a different approach, where I carefully considered each step and how they connect, only then did everything begin to "click", and so did my marks. I teach the same way, helping you solidify your understanding and avoid common pitfalls.
