About Demi
I am a mathematics tutor with 9 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. My journey began with a strong interest in numbers and problem solving, which later developed into a passion for teaching. I have worked with students at different levels and helped them improve their understanding and confidence in mathematics. My goal is to make mathematics simple, clear, and approachable for every learner.
My teaching approach is based on clarity, patience, and structured explanation. I focus on helping students understand concepts deeply rather than memorising steps. I break down problems into smaller parts and use simple examples to make learning easier. I also encourage students to think independently and solve problems on their own. Creating a supportive learning environment is very important to me. Students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I provide regular feedback and guidance to support continuous improvement.
I keep updating my teaching methods to ensure effective learning for every student. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I get to see students grow in confidence and ability. My goal is to help students not only succeed academically but also develop strong logical thinking skills. I want every learner to feel confident in solving problems and enjoy the learning process. By the end, students feel more independent, capable, and motivated to continue improving in mathematics.

My mathematics lessons focus on helping students understand concepts clearly and apply them with confidence. I believe mathematics becomes easier when students understand the logic behind each step instead of memorising formulas. I teach topics such as algebra, geometry, and calculus using simple explanations and structured methods. Each lesson is carefully planned so students can build knowledge step by step without feeling overwhelmed. I create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Practice problems are included in every session to improve accuracy, speed, and understanding over time.
Lessons are customised based on the student’s level and learning goals. Beginners start with basic concepts and simple problem-solving techniques. Intermediate students focus on improving their calculation skills, recognising patterns, and applying formulas correctly. Advanced learners work on complex problems, exam preparation, and time management strategies. I provide clear explanations and step-by-step guidance in every lesson. Students are encouraged to explain their reasoning, which helps strengthen their understanding. Regular revision sessions are included to ensure concepts are retained effectively.
Mathematics becomes much more manageable when students practise regularly and build strong foundations. My goal is to help learners overcome fear and develop confidence in solving problems independently. As students improve, they begin to enjoy mathematics and feel more comfortable with challenging questions. Many students who once struggled start performing better and gaining confidence in their abilities. I focus on steady progress, clear understanding, and positive learning experiences. By the end, students feel confident, capable, and ready to approach mathematics with a clear and logical mindset.
