About Livia
My passion for mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning, which led me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics. Over 12 years, I have guided learners at all levels, helping them convert abstract concepts into clear understanding while developing confidence, logical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
I teach through clarity, interactivity, and practical application. Lessons incorporate visual explanations, step-by-step problem-solving, and real-world examples to make concepts meaningful. I encourage students to think creatively, ask questions, and develop their own methods for understanding, nurturing both comprehension and curiosity.
Beyond teaching, I engage with mathematics through research, competitions, and applied projects to provide students with current, relevant insights. Watching students evolve from uncertainty to confidence, improve reasoning, and tackle problems independently is deeply fulfilling. My mission is to help learners become skilled, confident, and inspired mathematicians capable of applying knowledge across domains.

Mathematics is a subject that sharpens logic, reasoning, and problem-solving, and my lessons are designed to make abstract concepts understandable, meaningful, and engaging. I cover algebra, calculus, statistics, probability, combinatorics, and applied problem-solving techniques. Students learn to analyze problems critically, understand underlying principles, and explore multiple solution strategies. Lessons include interactive exercises, real-world examples, and conceptual explanations that encourage curiosity and confidence. I focus on helping learners build both skill and intuition, ensuring they not only solve problems but also understand why solutions work.
Lesson plans are tailored to each student’s experience. Beginners focus on foundational arithmetic, algebraic manipulation, and geometric reasoning to develop confidence and understanding. Intermediate learners study functions, graph analysis, multi-step problems, and introductory calculus concepts. Advanced learners tackle integrals, differential equations, probability distributions, and complex problem-solving. Each lesson integrates explanation, practice, and application, helping learners consolidate knowledge and strengthen analytical thinking.
