About Samantha
My fascination with mathematics began at an early age, inspired by curiosity about patterns, logic, and problem-solving. I completed a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics, acquiring both theoretical understanding and practical problem-solving experience. Over 10 years, I have guided students from foundational concepts to advanced problem-solving, helping them achieve mastery, analytical thinking, and confidence. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, using visual aids, stepwise explanations, and real-life examples to make abstract concepts tangible. I encourage independent reasoning, curiosity, and exploration, fostering deep understanding and self-confidence. Lessons emphasize conceptual comprehension and logical thinking over rote memorization, promoting long-term retention and analytical skills development. Outside teaching, I participate in applied mathematics research, problem-solving initiatives, and educational projects, integrating practical applications into lessons. Watching students progress from uncertainty to mastery, gaining confidence and analytical skills, is immensely rewarding and inspires my dedication to teaching.
