About Mason
My journey in mathematics started with a fascination for numbers and patterns in nature and the world around us. This curiosity inspired me to study the subject at a deeper level, eventually earning a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics, where I explored advanced topics in algebra, calculus, and mathematical modeling. These studies shaped my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Over the past 8 years of teaching, I have worked with students of varying skill levels—from beginners struggling with basic calculations to advanced learners preparing for competitive exams. My teaching style emphasizes patient explanations, real-life examples, and practical exercises that help learners develop a thorough understanding and long-term confidence.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy exploring mathematical puzzles, modeling real-world problems, and reading about the latest applications of mathematics in science and technology. These interests enrich my lessons and allow me to bring context and relevance to every topic. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I help students grow intellectually, develop problem-solving abilities, and gain confidence in their skills.

My mathematics lessons are designed to help students develop strong problem-solving skills while understanding the principles behind the calculations. Many learners initially struggle because they memorize procedures without seeing the logic behind them. I begin lessons with foundational topics such as arithmetic operations, fractions, decimals, and percentages, gradually building a base of confidence and comprehension. Students practice applying these concepts in a variety of exercises that challenge their thinking while reinforcing clarity.
Once students are comfortable, lessons progress to algebra, equations, ratios, and geometry, explaining each concept with clear, step-by-step reasoning. I provide examples that connect mathematical ideas to real-life scenarios so students can see how math is applied in everyday life and science. Regular exercises with guided feedback ensure students internalize methods and feel supported throughout the process. This approach helps learners move beyond rote learning toward true understanding.
The ultimate goal of my lessons is to help students approach mathematics with curiosity and confidence. They not only learn how to solve problems but also develop logical thinking, analytical skills, and perseverance. Over time, students gain the ability to tackle unfamiliar problems independently, building self-assurance in both academic settings and personal growth.
