About Aaron
My passion for mathematics began with fascination for how abstract ideas can explain real-world systems, from engineering structures to economic trends. This curiosity led me to complete an M.Sc in Mathematical Modelling, where I explored advanced methods of analysis, applied equations, and structured reasoning. Over the past 11 years, I have helped students at many levels overcome anxiety and build confidence through patient teaching and clear explanation. Teaching maths has shown me that every learner can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement.
My teaching style is concept-based and supportive. I break down complex problems into manageable steps and ensure students understand the logic behind each method. I encourage questions, promote independent thinking, and help learners build confidence through steady progress rather than pressure.
Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with mathematics through continued learning, research reading, and exploring applications of modelling in science and technology. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I see students transform from uncertain to confident. My goal is to help learners become strong, capable mathematical thinkers.

Mathematics becomes much more enjoyable when students realise it is not about speed or memorising formulas, but about understanding patterns and reasoning clearly. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus basics, and statistics with a calm and supportive approach. I focus on building strong foundations step by step, helping students see how each concept connects to the next. Every session is designed to replace confusion with clarity through structured explanation, guided examples, and practice questions that strengthen confidence. My goal is to help students feel capable and steady when approaching even challenging maths problems.
Lesson plans are always adjusted to the learner’s level and needs. Beginners work on arithmetic confidence, fractions, equations, and core number sense. Intermediate learners develop stronger algebraic manipulation, graph understanding, geometry proofs, and exam strategies. Advanced students explore calculus applications, probability reasoning, optimisation problems, and multi-step analytical thinking. Feedback is continuous, and mistakes are treated as learning opportunities rather than failures.
Maths lessons also help students grow beyond academics. They develop patience, focus, and independent problem-solving habits. Many learners become more confident across other subjects once mathematical understanding improves. My mission is to help students trust their thinking and succeed with long-term confidence.
