About Jeremy
I am a currently a full-time teacher at a private school in Raleigh, North Carolina, and have also worked in the Wake County Public School System. I have been married for 16 years and have four children, from ages 6 - 14; our youngest we adopted after being his foster parents for 2 years! I love spending time outdoors and watching movies with my family.

My goal is to come alongside and support each student in grasping the underlying principles behind mathematical concepts. Expect to learn through pictures and diagrams that model each idea, and move towards notational fluency as the conceptual foundation is built. I am not a tutor who gives students the 'right answer,' but instead guides them through careful questioning to learn and discover the ideas themselves.
My experience as a teacher and tutor has shown me that with encouragement and accountability, all students can gain confidence as they improve their abilities.
I have spent at least 3 years teaching each of the following courses: Math 7, Pre-Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry (my favorite), Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB (my second favorite).
