About Eloi
Hello, I have offered tutoring since 2016 right after receiving my French Scientific ‘Baccalauréat’ with the highest honors (18.02/20 of GPA). I then continued my studies at McGill university with a major in mathematics, a minor in computer science, and an additional minor in political science. Through my time in university, I have acquired a strong scientific background and I developed learning techniques that I still use today.

I offer tutoring and intensive monitoring in Mathematics this semester for middle school, high school and university students in Montréal so as to start off the new season well. Thanks to my previous experience in tutoring, I know how to adapt to the student’s needs and carry out a personalized monitoring. The goal is to not only pass on knowledge and techniques to make the student progress but to create a relationship of trust as well. My classes aim to define clear and reachable goals, while boosting the motivation.
My methodology is the following:
- Stimulate the motivation of the student through a more thriving approach of Mathematics
- Go through everything that has been covered at school so far, while preparing the student for what’s coming next in class
- Put into practice what was learned by selecting relevant and useful exercises
The classes are available in English or French. I can also help the student with an introduction to the French or English languages.

Perfect! Eloi is an excellent math tutor. My 11 year old enjoys his tutoring sessions and learns a lot. Eloi first got to know my son's interests and incorporates them as examples to explain complex math concepts. He is a very engaging, knowledgable,
