About Sujirtha
I am very experienced in tutoring students of all ages upto A level in Maths. I used to volunteer at a local school to teach Maths to Year 9/10 students. In addition I have volunteered at Kumon for over a year, where I taught Maths to much younger children as well. In September I will be starting my Actuarial Science degree at university and am looking to tutor students. My achievements in Maths include 9 at GCSE, A in Additional Maths , and predicted A* for Maths A level. At my school I was the Maths subject leader and, I have achieved highly commended in a GDST maths competition.

My teaching method starts with the student to establish the areas of Maths they find difficult and would like to work on. I will explain these topics and help them to understand how to solve different types of questions. If they are preparing for exams, we will go through past paper questions and focus on their technique. My aim is to ensure they fully understand what we have learnt and are confident in tackling questions. I am patient and approachable, and the lessons will be based on the student's pace of learning.
