About Sebastian
I am currently doing a double major of pure mathematics and mathematical statistics at Monash University. So math is something I really enjoy learning, however I also enjoy teaching math. I think that mathematics is often seen to be very abstract and "not for everyone", but in my opinion, math is absolutely something everyone can do great in and even love. So I really enjoy trying to inspire this viewpoint and passion in my students.

I focus on helping year 7-10 students understand what’s actually happening in math rather than memorizing steps. Often the concepts are more accessible than they seem, so once the explanation clicks, students tend to progress much faster than they might expect.
In our one-on-one sessions we work directly from the material the student is currently covering at school. This makes it possible to pinpoint exactly where their understanding breaks down. The goal is that students leave knowing why something works, not only how to get the answer.
I typically do 1 hour tutoring however I am very flexible and happy to make adjustments based on what is preferred by you.
