About Abby
I am a Ukrainian-American who is currently studying Applied Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. I have lived all over the world and have tutored and taught people from many backgrounds and understand the struggles that come with inadequate education.
Whether you feel that material isn't being explained in a way you understand at your school or that you need some extra time to grasp a certain subject, I can help you reach a place where you are comfortable with your mathematics.

My lessons work to understand where the student's baseline of knowledge is and work with them to a place of understanding on the subject. By the end of a session, the student should be able to explain the material to anyone with confidence.
My experience draws from being a mathematics teacher's assistant throughout secondary school. My lessons are typically an hour long, although this is dependent on the material. This would typically suit students aged 12-18 who feel they haven't been taught some fundamental knowledge of their subject.
