With extensive experience teaching and marking mathematics since 2020, I have a proven track record of helping students succeed. I am confident in tutoring from primary level all the way through to university-level courses. University Level (2020-Present): Extensive experience in teaching and marking for undergraduate mathematics and science courses, including thousands of hours of assessment marking. Tutorial College (2023-2025): Taught a diverse range of students in-person, providing tailored support in both one-to-one and classroom settings. Online Tutoring (2020-Present): Delivered effective and engaging online lessons to students of all ages, developing strong remote teaching skills. As an experienced mathematics tutor, my aim is to make the subject clear and understandable for every student. Perfect! I’ve been learning with Thomas over the past few months, and his support has made a huge difference. Before starting, I hadn’t studied maths for over 10 years and had only reached GCSE level. With his help, I’ve progressed to Level 5 advanced mathematics for my civil engineering degree and passed comfortably. I had corusework and exams and he was great at applying the maths to my context of civil engineering and helping me prepare for exams. He always went above and beyond by giving extra time outside of lessons whenever needed.
He has a good method of teaching, he always made sure I was involved in deciding what to focus on, so we could concentrate on the areas where I needed the most help.
I was let down by another tutor on the platform, but Thomas responded quickly and arranged a lesson at short notice, helping me get back on track straight away.
I would highly recommend Thomas to anyone looking for a maths tutor at any level. He’s knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely invested in his students’ success. Can't thank him enough and I wouldn’t have made it through my maths module without him. Thank you, Thomas.View more reviews
