About Nicholas
I am a mathematics PhD with over 10 years of tutoring experience. I have been an instructor and a teaching assistant for mathematics courses at various universities in Ontario, as well as abroad, and am confident in tutoring courses from grade 11 level to third year university.

My teaching methodology is problem solving based. I believe in collaboratively working on problems together with students so that they can develop confidence and independent problem solving skills. I customize the lessons to help the students perform well in their exams/assignments.
I can teach grade 11-3rd year university courses, including trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, discrete math, real analysis, group and topology.
I have experience as a course instructor and teaching assistant from 1st year university to master's level. I also have a high level of subject matter expertise, having published multiple papers in peer-reviewed math journals.

Great tutor. Very helpful and thoughtful lessons
Nicholas is a dedicated math tutor. He cares if you understand the topic and wants to help you succeed. He gave me time to practice and understand the material while teaching me new skills. Nicholas was my tutor for Calculus 1 and I found him to be very knowledgeable about all of the course material. I will be using Nicholas again as a math tutor.
