About Alisha
My passion for mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, problem-solving, and logical reasoning. This interest led me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, providing both theoretical depth and practical application experience. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped students at all levels transform uncertainty into confidence through structured, supportive guidance. I adapt my teaching to individual learning styles, using visual aids, stepwise explanations, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts approachable. I focus on building student confidence, ensuring learners feel capable and motivated as they progress. Encouraging curiosity, exploration, and persistence is central to my teaching philosophy. Outside teaching, I engage in research, mathematical modeling projects, and continued professional development to stay current with advances in mathematics. Bringing these insights into lessons enriches learning and makes concepts more meaningful. Watching students evolve from hesitant learners to confident problem-solvers is deeply rewarding and motivates me to continue nurturing analytical minds.
