About Celine
My interest in Mathematics began with fascination for patterns, logical reasoning, and structured problem-solving. I pursued an M.Sc in Mathematics Education to deepen my knowledge and acquire advanced teaching strategies. Over 12 years of experience, I have guided students across elementary school math, middle school math, SAT math preparation, and early Calculus, helping them build strong conceptual understanding and confidence. I approach teaching with patience, attentiveness, and adaptability. I tailor explanations to each student’s learning style using visual models, step-by-step reasoning, and practical examples. I foster an environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities to grow, helping students develop resilience and self-assurance. Outside the classroom, I remain actively engaged with mathematics through ongoing study, problem-solving, and curriculum development. Teaching Math is immensely rewarding because I witness learners gain clarity, independence, and confidence. Supporting students in realizing their potential and logical abilities is the most fulfilling part of my work.

Mathematics becomes truly accessible when learners are encouraged to understand the reasoning behind concepts rather than relying on memorization. My lessons include elementary school math, middle school math, geometry, algebra, SAT math, and Calculus, emphasizing logical connections, step-by-step problem-solving, and conceptual clarity. I create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment, allowing students to approach mathematical challenges confidently and gradually develop mastery. Lesson content is carefully tailored to the learner’s current level. Elementary school math focuses on number sense, arithmetic, and interpreting word problems. Middle school math introduces geometry, proportional reasoning, and foundational algebra with visual models and interactive exercises. Advanced learners work on algebraic techniques, SAT math strategies, and introductory Calculus, with focus on accuracy, logical reasoning, and practical application. Practice exercises reinforce understanding while fostering confidence and independent thinking. Math lessons also cultivate patience, persistence, and problem-solving resilience. As learners gain clarity and logical insight, they are more willing to attempt unfamiliar problems and develop independence in thinking. Many students begin to see mathematics as structured, achievable, and rewarding. My goal is to help learners feel confident, capable, and motivated to excel in all areas of mathematics.
