About Rayna
I have always been fascinated by the logical beauty, patterns, and structure of mathematics, which led me to pursue a Master’s in Mathematics and over 7 years of experience teaching learners across varying levels of proficiency. My teaching approach focuses on clear, patient explanation, structured problem-solving, and interactive guidance. I aim to make mathematics accessible and enjoyable, helping students build understanding, confidence, and analytical skills while nurturing a love for logical thinking and problem-solving.
I believe that every student learns differently, and I prioritise adaptability in my lessons. Using visual examples, stepwise explanations, and real-life applications, I ensure concepts are both understandable and memorable. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely, think independently, and approach problems critically. I also integrate exercises, feedback, and applied reasoning to strengthen both understanding and confidence in handling mathematical challenges effectively.
Beyond the classroom, I actively engage with puzzles, applied mathematical problems, and research developments to enrich my lessons with contemporary and practical examples. Observing students grow from hesitation to confident problem-solvers, develop critical thinking, and gain curiosity and enjoyment in learning mathematics is extremely fulfilling. My ultimate goal is to cultivate logical reasoning, persistence, and analytical skills that students carry with them beyond the classroom, supporting academic success and lifelong intellectual growth.

Each class encourages curiosity, persistence, and independent analytical skills while ensuring a strong conceptual foundation.
Lesson plans are tailored to individual levels and learning pace. Beginners focus on core concepts, basic operations, and guided exercises to establish a solid foundation. Intermediate learners explore multi-step problems, applied calculations, analytical reasoning, and structured practice. Advanced students tackle complex calculus, probability, abstract reasoning, and exam preparation strategies. Every lesson integrates discussion, exercises, and feedback to strengthen comprehension, accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities, ensuring learners progress steadily and confidently.
