About Zaya
I have 6 years of experience teaching Mathematics to students across a range of levels, from foundational skills to advanced exam preparation. I earned a B.A in Mathematical Sciences, which provided strong grounding in analytical reasoning, mathematical structure, and problem-solving methods. This academic background allows me to guide learners with clarity and patience.
My teaching style is supportive, structured, and focused on building understanding rather than memorisation. I enjoy helping students break down difficult questions into manageable steps and discover patterns that make learning easier. I create a calm environment where learners feel encouraged to ask questions freely.
Outside tutoring, I stay engaged with mathematics through continuous learning, problem-solving exploration, and interest in how maths connects to technology and science. Teaching maths is rewarding because students often discover confidence they didn’t know they had. Supporting that growth motivates my work deeply.

Mathematics becomes much more manageable when students learn to trust the structure and logic behind each method. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, functions, calculus foundations, and statistics with calm explanation and step-by-step problem solving. I focus on helping students understand why techniques work, so maths feels consistent rather than confusing. Each session is designed to strengthen confidence through clear reasoning and steady practice.
Lessons are personalised to student needs. Beginners work on core skills such as arithmetic fluency, algebraic manipulation, and basic geometry understanding. Intermediate learners develop stronger equation solving, trigonometry, graph interpretation, and word problem strategies. Advanced students focus on calculus applications, exam-style reasoning, and higher-level problem solving accuracy. Practice tasks and feedback are included in every lesson.
