About Sofiana
Hi! I am Sofi, I am a third Year Maths undergradute at UCL. I teach KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level Maths 1:1 or in small groups. I have self taught Further Maths, which has helped me develop skills such as commitment and determination. I have always enjoyed explaining difficult concepts in simplier ways and helping others !

I understand that each student has different needs and preferences thus I will adapt my lessons to your preferred learning style. Usually I explain key ideas giving you the intuition and understanding first , go through techiques of solving questions and then we go through questions together. I believe that collaborative learning is really important, we will work together to build your skills and confidence. In the end I like to let you try the question yourself, to asses your progress as well as induce independent thinking. One of my most important things is to create a friendly environment, such that you feel comfortable enough to ask me any questions you might have.
