About Ellen
I have just graduated from Cardiff University with a 1st in Mathematics with a Professional Placement Year. I am starting my masters in Mathematical Biology at St. Andrews in September.
I struggled at school, partly due to undiagnosed dyslexia, and it is my mission to ensure that each pupil I tutor is able to learn in a way that suits them personally. Each child is capable of achieving greatness and I enjoy witnessing part of the journey.

I bring my enthusiasm for maths to every lesson. As someone who was shy at school and often too nervous to ask questions, I try to build a relationship with each student in order to build a comfortable environment.
I explain the principles behind each method I teach as knowledge is best solidified with understanding rather than memorisation. I have worked with pupils with a range of abilities and ages and I implement a different approach to each student.
I specialise in tutoring pupils who are neurodivergent or have additional learning needs. I have experience working with autistic, ADHD, and dyslexic pupils.
My lessons typically last an hour but I am flexible to whatever suits the individual. These lessons are to help you!
