About Praveen
Whenever I tell people I have a degree in Maths, I often heard people say "I never got maths" about themselves. I've always believed that everyone can do well at Maths, they just need the right help and guidance. All of us have those moments in life where things just "click" and I'm sure I can help students have that moment for maths.
In addition to studying Maths at university, I now work as an Actuary. You might not have heard of an Actuary before, but to sum it up, it's doing hard maths in a business context (usually insurance companies) and then explaining it to people in an easy to understand way. I apply this same approach to teaching my students.

I'm a qualified Actuary and Mathematics graduate, passionate about helping everyone with their maths journey.
I'm flexible on how long lessons are, but recommend 90 minutes, to give good time for me to explain concepts, and time for some practice examples.
I've tutored Maths in the past, with all students getting the outcomes they were looking for.
I focus on Maths for GCSE and A level students.
