About Venkateswara Reddy
Hello! I'm Pulimi Venkateswara Reddy, and I've spent thirty years teaching Mathematics to over five thousand students, from Class 5 to Class 10, across State Board, ICSE, and CBSE. I became a teacher because I don't believe anyone is "bad at math", most students just need someone patient enough to explain things clearly, step by step. My greatest joy is that moment a nervous student finally smiles and says, "Now I get it!" That's why I still teach with the same energy as day one. I've been teaching Mathematics for over thirty years now, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that no child is "bad at math", they've usually just been rushed past the point where things stopped making sense. So my whole approach is built on patience, clarity, and building confidence one step at a time.
I don't believe in making students memorize formulas blindly. I start with the why behind every concept. If a student understands why a rule works, they never really forget it. I use a lot of simple, everyday examples to explain abstract ideas, I break a big, scary problem down into small, easy pieces until the student says, "Oh, that's it?" That moment is what I teach for.
I also teach by doing. Math isn't a spectator subject, so I keep my students working problems themselves, correcting gently as we go. I give plenty of practice, but I always watch how a student is thinking, not just whether they got the right answer, because that tells me exactly where the confusion is hiding. For students who need extra help, I slow down and give individual attention and remedial practice until it clicks.
