About Raya
My interest in mathematics developed from an appreciation for logical structure and problem-solving precision. I pursued an M.Sc in Pure Mathematics, where I deepened my understanding of abstract reasoning and mathematical theory. Over the past 10 years, I have helped students overcome fear and hesitation through patient, structured teaching.
I believe mathematics education should be supportive and encouraging. I adapt my approach to individual learning styles, ensuring clarity and steady progress. Understanding is always prioritised over speed.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with mathematics through continuous study. Teaching mathematics is fulfilling because I witness students gain confidence and independence. Helping learners discover their logical strength is deeply rewarding.

Mathematics lessons focus on helping students develop strong conceptual understanding and logical clarity. I teach arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and introductory calculus by building ideas step by step. Each lesson emphasises understanding why methods work rather than memorising formulas. Visual reasoning and structured explanations help learners feel calm and confident when approaching new problems.
As learners advance, lessons emphasise multi-step problem-solving, pattern recognition, and mathematical reasoning.
