About Lila
My fascination with mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, logic, and problem-solving. Over nine years, I have guided students from foundational concepts to advanced topics, fostering both skill and confidence. Teaching allows me to translate abstract concepts into practical understanding while inspiring analytical thinking.
I employ a patient, structured, and personalised teaching approach. Lessons are adapted to individual learning styles and pace, balancing explanation, exploration, and problem-solving. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, promoting resilience and self-assurance.
Outside teaching, I engage with advanced mathematics, research, and educational strategies to continually refine my approach. Mathematics is not just a subject I teach — it is a lifelong pursuit of discovery and understanding, which I am privileged to share with students.

Mathematics is approached as a structured, logical framework for understanding patterns, relationships, and abstract concepts. The lessons progress according to student ability. Beginners build foundational skills in arithmetic, number sense, algebra, and basic geometry. Intermediate learners explore functions, linear equations, ratios, and coordinate geometry while developing reasoning and analytical abilities. Advanced students tackle calculus, trigonometry, and complex problem-solving challenges with assignments, guided exercises, and exam preparation.
