About Simon
My fascination with mathematics started early, fueled by curiosity about patterns, logic, and analytical problem-solving. I pursued a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics to deepen both theoretical and practical understanding of the subject. Over 10 years, I have taught students across diverse levels, helping them develop conceptual clarity, confidence, and problem-solving abilities that extend beyond the classroom.
I emphasize a patient, adaptable, and individualized approach to teaching. Lessons combine clear explanations, examples, interactive exercises, and guided problem-solving, allowing learners to progress at their own pace. I encourage students to ask questions, consider multiple approaches, and build independent reasoning skills.
Outside the classroom, I actively engage with mathematical research, applied problem-solving, and analytical projects to enrich lessons with real-world context. Seeing students transform uncertainty into understanding, curiosity, and analytical confidence remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching, continually motivating my dedication to mathematics education.

Mathematics becomes engaging when students can connect abstract concepts to real-world applications and reason through each problem logically. My lessons cover algebra, calculus, geometry, probability, statistics, and problem-solving strategies with a focus on understanding rather than rote memorization. I integrate visual aids, stepwise reasoning, interactive examples, and real-life scenarios to develop conceptual clarity, analytical skills, and long-term retention. Lessons encourage curiosity, multiple solution approaches, and the habit of thinking critically about each problem.
Each session is tailored to the student’s skill level. Beginners focus on fundamental concepts, number sense, and simple problem-solving approaches. Intermediate learners develop multi-step reasoning, logical deductions, and structured strategies for tackling complex questions. Advanced students delve into proofs, modeling, optimization, and real-life applications of mathematical principles. I provide step-by-step guidance, reasoning support, and regular feedback to strengthen both skill and confidence.
Through consistent practice, exploration, and analytical discussion, students cultivate problem-solving ability, logical reasoning, and self-confidence. Many gain an appreciation for the beauty and utility of mathematics while improving academic performance.
