About Stuart
Throughout my life, I have travelled extensively, and, while a graduate student at the University of Cape Town, volunteered as a tutor for students struggling with education in extremely poor areas. I have also volunteered my services for the Immigrant Women's Association in my city, and have always tried to do as much as I can to empower those with difficulties learning difficult concepts. Because of all I've seen and experienced, I am extremely patient with my students and always make sure that they are comfortable and getting the maximum benefit from their time with me.

As part of my graduate degrees, I have given tutorials in graduate level mathematics and statistics. I have also tutored every level of elementary to high school. My greatest satisfaction is when students understand the concept, rather than being simply able to answer problems by memorizing a process. I underscore the beauty of mathematics in my teaching and give examples of real-world situations where it is extremely important to encourage students to enjoy math.
Typically, I condense the entire curriculum from the term into a series of topics, teach the theory of those topics, and then provide examples and practice problems to test that they are learned successfully.
