About Hazel
I am in my third year studying university level maths and statistics and am on track to receive a 1:1. I have been tutoring for 2 years, and have tutored a total of 10 students, 4 of which received A's in honours junior cert maths, and 2 of which received H2s in honours leaving cert maths. None of my students have ever received a grade lower than 65% in their exams.

My teaching method is to give the student a real, in depth understanding of each topic, in doing this they have the tools to answer all questions including curveballs which exams are notorious for throwing in.
This is done through giving each student the individual attention they need because different students need different explanations in order to fully grasp something. This is not a one size fits all approach, nor is it a case of practising questions until you're hands are sore. The most effective way of learning maths, or anything for that matter, is through understanding it and that is my aim for each student.
