About Shannon
I am a Mathematics and Psychology undergraduate student working to a first standard, who completed A levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology all to A grade. I have tutored throughout sixth form and now currently tutor 6 GCSE Maths students in both an individual and group setting at varying ability levels.

My teaching is primarily aimed at GCSE and A level maths students, however, I am completing a joint honours degree with Psychology so could also tutor psychology students. I believe that for maths the best way to approach it is to practise and see as many examples as possible. This way when you are in an exam setting a different way of asking the same question won't throw you, and you give yourself the best chance of succeeding. For psychology, I still believe reinforcing your knowledge is essential, however, doing interactive activities and group discussions to discuss key topics, I feel works best. I always like to start my lessons with an example that reinforces the content learnt in the previous session to make sure this information becomes second nature and is not forgotten.

Details
For individual GCSE sessions I charge 10 pounds/hour, for A level individual I charge 12. For group sessions I charge 20 pounds/hour for GCSE and 22 for A level.
