About Lewis
I am a newly qualified mathematics teacher looking to gain further experience in the tutoring world. I got into teaching as I feel a sense of fulfilment when helping students in need. Away from my teaching I am an international athlete competing for Scotland in the high jump. So, I have a very high work ethic and commitment to everything I put time into including my students. As well as this I like to relate my lessons to real life situations to further explore understanding in set topics.

Step by step approach for understanding of mathematical topics and concepts. Will focus on understanding first and the methods thereafter. Have tutored for 5+ years for BGE up to higher level. More recently adding applications maths at national 5 level.
I have an undergraduate degree in pure maths and a postgraduate degree in maths teaching for secondary school level.Session will generally be between 30 minutes to 1 hour, however, happy to be flexible if more or less is required.
