About Afra
Since 2015, I have been tutoring GCSE students one-to-one, and have been doing voluntary tutoring at my college. Since 2016 till 2017 I had been working at a tuition centre as a maths tutor, working with 6-8 students per session from secondary to A-level stages. My students have been able to significantly improve on their mathematics, moving from a predicted C to a predicted A during the sessions we had, and I believe that it is the significant change in one's current level that determines their understanding of mathematics.

Recently having completed A-levels, I am in completely familiar and in practise of Maths and Further Maths GCSE to A Level. Because of my familiarity with the style of questions and the content I can help students from secondary stage up to A- level. I believe with mathematics- practise and strong foundations is key. In order to achieve this, I will work towards strengthening the students foundation while constantly practising questions with increasing difficulty in order to excel at the topic by the end of the sessions. Due to my friendly demeanour I can help the students to be open with me regarding their areas of concern, thus allowing the us to communicate freely in order for me to help them most effectively.
