As a Mathematical Finance graduate with three years of tutoring experience, my aim is to make mathematics accessible, understandable, and enjoyable for students from Year 1 through Year 9.
Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
My approach to tutoring hinges on the philosophy that understanding is key to learning mathematics. Therefore, I focus on cultivating a solid grasp of core mathematical concepts and principles. I also stress the importance of practice, as it not only reinforces understanding, but also promotes the development of problem-solving skills.
My methodology includes breaking down complex ideas into smaller, manageable parts and illustrating these with real-life examples, which makes the learning process more relatable and engaging. I incorporate the use of visual aids and interactive digital tools where necessary to further stimulate understanding.
