About Salma
Hi! I’m Salma, a Mathematical Sciences student at MacEwan University with experience working with and coaching children. I’m offering math tutoring for students from Kindergarten to Grade 9. I’m patient, friendly, and understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on explaining concepts in simple ways and working at a pace that feels comfortable for them. My goal is to help students strengthen their math skills while also becoming more confident and comfortable with the subject.

I tutor for math and my main goal as a tutor is to make lessons as fun, interesting, and memorable as possible. I find that children learn best when presented with a fun and interesting lesson.
A typical lesson plan would include a review of what your child is currently learning in class as well as a head start on their next lesson to keep them ahead of what's needed.
As one of my main focuses that sets me apart from many other tutors, my goal is to build a strong, genuine bond with my students as kids tend to learn best from people that they trust and can bond with.
I tutor K-9 math with some wiggle room for other subjects if needed, as well as online and in-person classes depending on preferences.
