I’m Shima Khalighi, a PhD-trained educator in Cognitive Modeling (Neuroscience) with a strong academic background in Mathematics and over 8 years of teaching experience. My work sits at the intersection of math education and brain science, which allows me to approach teaching in a more effective and strategic way than traditional tutoring. I don’t rely on memorization-based methods—instead, I design each lesson to align with how the brain naturally learns, helping students improve their focus, understanding, and long-term retention. I have worked with students across a wide range of levels, supporting both those who need to strengthen their foundations and those aiming for advanced performance.
