About Jordan
I have been a Mathematics educator for 5+ years working with students aged from 10 to 17 in the classrooms of 12 to 27 students at a time. I have also been a mathematics tutor for 5+ years in courses such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Geometry. I have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics as well as a Master's degree in Education and Social Justice.

I am a passionate educator with 5+ years experience teaching and tutoring high school and middle school level Math. I have designed this course as a way for students to review any materials or topics needed to help succeed in the classroom. I can assist in reviewing fundamental concepts, preparation of upcoming tests, quizzes, and/or exams, as well as looking ahead to what's to come in the curriculum. Throughout each session, the learner and I will assess what particular topics are most needed at that time, review the concepts, and guide them through as many practice problems as possible to maximize the time spent together. I will also work through any study guides or reviews given by their teacher in order to explain material as well as emphasize good test-taking strategies for that particular assessment. I ask that students should come prepared with any materials or questions they may wish to cover and paper, pencils, and whatever calculator they use in their math class.
