Shrijit is possibly the only reason I am passing my IB boards. His help and constant support not only gave me a clear understanding of the subject but even inspired me to pursue economics in college. He makes the hardest concepts, relatable, and goes out of his way to give his students a broader idea of the concept no matter how long it takes or whether it's even in the syllabus!

In the beginning, I hated studying O-level economics, and I was barely passing. I was overwhelmed by the complexities of the subject, and I felt like I wasn't making any progress.

I found Shrijit because my brother had said that he was giving tuition and had topped A-levels in economics.  

During classes, we relentlessly worked for hours and hours on building the foundation and practicing a myriad of past papers. Through Shrijit's guidance, I finally achieved what I thought was unachievable: I scored an A* in the O-level economics examination. From an F at the start of the term to an A* at the end, he made me fall in love with economics. Shrijit taught me to think of economics beyond books and apply the principles in everyday life.

The best part about a teacher like him is that he doesn't actually focus on the marks, he focuses on making his students understand the concept and apply it to real-life scenarios, different countries, and case studies, and he also aims to integrate economics with different subjects. He made it interesting and made me realise that economics is not just about graphs and numbers, but also about understanding how different factors affect the economy, such as population growth, inflation, unemployment, and globalisation.

Currently, I am pursuing IB and have economics as my HL subject, in which I score straight sevens due to him.

He’s a smart person who know how to get the job done, he’s hardworking and persistent. He knows how to get your attention and you can learn a lot from him.
