About Colin
I earned my BA in Mathematics from Harding University in 2023. I’ve tutored on and off over the years (primarily helping friends) and discovered that I really enjoy helping people get math.
I haven’t always had an easy time with it myself. I’ve made mistakes, struggled with concepts, and learned the hard way what doesn’t work. That experience shaped how I teach: sometimes understanding just takes the right explanation and someone who can challenge you without the pressure of a grade.

My lessons are built around figuring out where you’re stuck and strengthening those areas step by step. Since math builds on itself, I focus on solid foundations so future topics don’t feel overwhelming.
Mistakes are part of learning, not something to fear. When you make one, we’ll break down why it happened and talk through strategies to avoid it next time. We’ll work through homework, review textbook examples, and use extra practice problems when helpful, so you’re confident and prepared going forward.
