About Allison
I have worked with Kumon Learning Center for almost 4 months as a Math and Reading Teaching Assistant specifically focusing on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions along with some pre-algebra concepts. At any given time I teach one to six kids in either small group or individual settings. My students have all progressed to different levels in Kumon and are improving in their math classes as well.

I am an aspiring educator with experience tutoring children Pre-K to 6th grade. I believe understanding is just as important as learning so I try to incorporate practical examples in each lesson. During each lesson, we will go over the subject, do examples, and if time allows, practice using the lesson in a real-world way. I am a very interactive and lively person so I try to make math fun and interesting for all my students.
