About Sarveen
Hi, I’m Sarveen, a math tutor specializing in Grade 7–9 mathematics. I help students strengthen their foundations and gain confidence in math through clear explanations and step-by-step problem solving.
I support students with topics such as integers, fractions, ratios, percentages, algebra basics, linear equations, geometry, and word problems. Many students struggle with math because they miss key concepts early on, so I focus on filling those gaps and making sure the basics are fully understood.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and learning style.

I begin by understanding the student’s current level and areas of difficulty. Lessons are structured but flexible, combining explanations, guided practice, and independent problem solving. During sessions, we review schoolwork or homework, practice similar questions together, and break down problems into simple steps so students feel confident solving them on their own. I encourage questions and make sure students fully understand each concept before moving on.
