About Durga
Hi! I'm a passionate and dedicated IB Mathematics teacher with years of classroom and online tutoring experience.
I specialize in IB Math Analysis & Approaches (AA) and Applications & Interpretation (AI) at both Standard and Higher Level. Having taught IB Math from the inside, I understand exactly what the examiners are looking for and how to prepare students to meet those expectations.
I genuinely love mathematics and even more, I love that moment when a student finally understands something they've been struggling with. That is what drives me every day.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy keeping up with developments in math education and finding new ways to make complex topics simple and engaging for my students.
I believe every student has the ability to succeed in IB Math — they just need the right guidance, patience and strategy. That is exactly what I bring to every session.

My lessons are structured, focused and tailored to each student's needs. Here is what a typical session looks like:
Step 1 — Quick Review (5 mins)
We start by reviewing what was covered last session and addressing any questions or confusion.
Step 2 — New Topic or Problem Solving (30 mins)
I explain the concept clearly with examples, then guide you through practice questions step by step.
Step 3 — Past Paper Practice (15 mins)
We apply the topic to real IB exam questions so you get comfortable with exam style.
Step 4 — Summary & Homework (10 mins)
I summarize key points and give you targeted practice to do before the next session.
