About Tamara
For over 9 years, I have been tutoring mathematics, supported by a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics. I specialize in preparing students for IB and A-Level examinations. My approach is structured, clear, and focused on conceptual understanding. Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics are subjects where I provide strong guidance. I encourage students to explore multiple problem-solving techniques, helping them develop flexibility and critical thinking. Past paper practice forms the backbone of exam preparation in my lessons. By analyzing solutions together, students build speed, accuracy, and confidence. I also emphasize feedback, ensuring students always know where they stand. My teaching style is supportive but challenging, designed to stretch students’ abilities.
