About Leo
I’m a recent Year 12 graduate with a strong interest in mathematics and a genuine passion for helping students improve their confidence and results. I understand that math can feel overwhelming at times, so I aim to make lessons clear, supportive, and approachable. I enjoy breaking difficult topics into simple steps and helping students build a stronger understanding over time.
I’m especially suited to helping secondary school students, including those studying VCE Math Methods and Specialist Math. As someone who has studied these subjects more recently, I understand the challenges students face and the kinds of explanations that are actually helpful. My goal is to create a calm, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and steadily improving.

I’m a patient and supportive maths tutor offering lessons for secondary school students, including those studying VCE Maths Methods and Specialist Maths. My approach is to break difficult ideas into simple steps, explain the reasoning clearly, and then build confidence through worked examples and targeted practice questions. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind each method, not just memorise formulas.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals, whether that means strengthening foundations, improving test performance, or preparing for SACs and exams. A typical lesson runs for 90 minutes, though longer sessions can also be arranged. I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while improving steadily.
