About Jessica
I have experience supporting children across academic, creative, and after-school settings. My background includes teaching theater, tutoring math and English, working as a K–6th grade science teacher’s aide, and serving as an after-school classroom leader. I also have experience babysitting, which has strengthened my ability to connect with and support students of different ages and needs.

With over 10 years of experience in education and a background in Communications, I have grown passionate about helping elementary students build confidence in their ability to tackle academic challenges. My experience with Kindergarten–6th grade students has allowed me to support a wide range of learning styles, skill levels, and individual needs. I believe learning should feel supportive and empowering, and I focus on skill-building and meeting students where they are so they can feel proud of their progress both in and out of the classroom. My goal is to help students develop strong foundational skills while feeling encouraged, motivated, and enthusiastic about learning.

The first free lesson with Jessica will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details
My rate of $18 covers an hour of tutoring with one student. My rate increases to $25 for multiple students in a one hour session.
The travel fee of $10 applies if my drive distance exceeds 20 miles to where we meet to tutor. I will ask for reimbursement of any supplies requested during a session, and provide materials I find suitable otherwise.
The prices for “packs” available are applicable if 5 sessions are booked in advance. I cannot adjust my rates once we have booked and I have been paid.
I am always open to discussing adjusting rates if these are not comfortable to your needs.
