About Keanu
Hi, my name is Keanu. I am a third-year student at DCU, pursuing an integrated master’s degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, and I will graduate in 2027 with both my master's and bachelor's degrees simultaneously. I attended Castleknock College on a full scholarship for mathematics, studying Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Higher level Mathematics for my leaving certificate. I also represented the school competitively on numerous occasions on both a regional and national level. My strong background in mathematics allows me to explain concepts clearly, and tailor my approach to grinds according to each student's needs and level. I first started giving Junior Certificate math grinds to neighbors while I was in transition year at school in 2019. Since completing my Leaving Certificate in 2022, I have expanded to working with Leaving Certificate students at both higher and ordinary levels. Over the past five years, I’ve gained extensive experience providing primarily one-to-one grinds and have consistently received positive feedback from all my previous students.

My main aim is to improve each student’s understanding and performance in the areas of the course that they find the most challenging. I achieve this by identifying their specific difficulties and tailoring my teaching approach to match their individual learning style. I also provide comprehensive, personalized notes covering all aspects of the course, which students can use for reference. Before progressing to new topics, I ensure student’s understanding through targeted practice and review. Additionally, I offer support throughout the week via phone, allowing students to have their questions answered promptly or receive feedback without having to wait until our next session.
