About Seann
I am a certified Elementary School Teacher. I worked 12 years in New York City(Bronx) teaching in classrooms that forced me to use critical thinking to get through to my students, and engage them. I worked hard with students and their families to build strong relationships and trust. This allowed me to teach them in a way where they trust me, and they believe in how and what I'm teaching them. I am a father of 2, so it's important for families to know that their student is in good hands!

I am fun, engaging, and will use your time wisely. I won't stress your student out, or overwhelm them. I am very focused at seeing where your student is, where they struggle, and then focusing on working to improve there skills they need help with.
I will start off with a question that gets your student to think critically and it allows me to see what they know. I will then move into them explaining what they did and why. This will lead to working on a concept with me guiding them. They will then have problems to work on alone. I will then end with some sort of small, formative assessment that will allow me to gauge wether or not they understand what was taught.
The lessons will be geared towards students from 1st-5th Grade.
