About Anna
I am a creative and empathetic teacher. I have been teaching piano and voice for 5 years. I am currently a masters student in Solo-Voice Ensemble Singing at the University of York.
In a lesson, you can expect clear and simple guidance from me, and also a sense of humour. I can use a variety pedagogical methods and so adapt your lesson to suit your needs or preferences.
I offer lessons in your home, or by meeting in a video call, or on the uni campus.

I approach music in a holistic way. We are all motivated by different senses, and I have seen students from very different ends of the spectrum—those concentrated more on music theory, notes, ‘musicianship,’ and those motivated more by art and emotional expression. I hope to increase both of these in your skill and appreciation.
