About Anne
Hello, I’m Anne. I hold a Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Idaho and have over 20 years of experience teaching students of all ages and levels. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s unique goals — whether that’s preparing for ABRSM exams, participating in competitions, or simply learning to play for personal enjoyment. I focus on building a solid foundation in technique and theory, while also nurturing musical expression and confidence. Students are encouraged to perform in our annual recital, which offers a valuable and rewarding opportunity to share their progress. I am committed to creating a positive, respectful, and motivating learning environment where students feel both challenged and encouraged every step of the way.

With over 20 years of teaching experience and a Master’s in Piano Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Idaho, I offer personalized piano lessons for all ages and levels.
My method focuses on strong technique, musical expression, and solid theory knowledge. Lessons are tailored to each student and often include ABRSM exam prep, sight-reading, ear training, and performance coaching.
Students have the opportunity to participate in competitions and an annual recital to showcase their progress.
I work with beginners to advanced players, helping each student build confidence, skill, and a lasting love for music.
