About Erika
My name is Erika Beyers and I have recently completed my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering w/ Business. I worked as a class tutor for both Statistics and Engineering subjects in the last two years of my degree and found that I thoroughly enjoyed guiding others through the subjects.
I believe that education is a powerful tool and can be made accessible to anyone with the right approach. I am dedicated to making complex concepts accessible and engaging. My approach to tutoring is student-centered and problem-based, focusing on individual learning styles and needs to ensure each student can grasp the material. I am excited to bring my knowledge and enthusiasm to help you succeed in your studies.

My lessons are grounded in practical applications of problems. We will work through solutions step-by-step with the aim to be able to solve similar problems independently in the future. Tutoring sessions will focus on areas on the subject that the student feels they need additional help on, and can be tailored accordingly. For statistics sessions, Microsoft Excel will also be utilised to help solve problems.
